The Park Room

A perfect setting for Afternoon Tea, the tradition of which dates back to the early nineteenth century when Anna, the 7th Duchess of Bedford is said to have complained of “having that sinking feeling” during the late afternoon. To overcome this feeling a light meal consisting of tea (usually Darjeeling) and cakes or sandwiches was served. Honour tradition and enjoy Afternoon Tea served against the scenic backdrop of Hyde Park, to the soft sounds of our resident pianist. As day turns to night, allow our expert mixologists to create a classic cocktails using the Park Room’s London Dry Gin which is meticulously distilled and infused with handpicked botanicals or enjoy our signature Champagne trolley.
