The Kings Head Bawburgh

The Kings Head is a family run gastropub and luxury B&B in Bawburgh on the outskirts of Norwich. Owners for forty years in 2023, Anton Wimmer and his family pride themselves in their reputation which has stood the test of time as they have adapted to this ever-changing industry. As one of the original pioneers of gastropub dining in Norfolk, The Kings Head Bawburgh has its menu and philosophy firmly rooted in local markets. In 2015 owner Anton was able to achieve his life long ambition of converting the old disused rooms above the inn into rooms. The Kings head is now a boutique B&B in Norwich nestled in the beautiful countryside. Each room is named after people linked to the history of The Kings Head. In 2017 two self catering short or long term let apartments completed the Kings Head refurbishments.
