91 High Street
Maidstone, England ME14 1SA
Most people in Maidstone will be familiar with the old NatWest & Kentish Bank building in the High Street and some of you may even know that The Kentish Bank was originally founded in 1793 and built by Maidstone benefactor; John Brenchley. Now this building has been lovingly transformed into Maidstone town centre's first independent freehouse to open for more than two decades. We have sympathetically restored this beautiful building to its former grandeur, complete with its solid oak columns & panelling, ornate cornice and best of all, its stunning huge glass ceiling dome. The Brenchley offers a vast range of popular beers, wines, spirits, seasonal & guest real ales, along with an affordable food menu, speedy service and traditional pub opening times... and now a large south-facing beer garden, sun terrace & outside bar.
