The Bowling Green

The Bowling Green is a large, family pub in the village of Charnock Richard, between Preston and Wigan. This historic destination pub first served as a coaching inn around 500 years but now serves a wide-range of food as well as award-winning beers and real ales. Made up of several dining areas, including a family dining area and over 18s, the Bowling Green really does cater for all tastes – take your pick from pub classics, fresh salads, lighter bites or a carvery. You can also make the most of food deals throughout the week. Alongside the children’s menu, the little ones will be kept happy with an indoor and outdoor play area. Outside there’s plenty of seating to the front and back where you can enjoy your food or if it’s a cold day, we’ll make sure the log burners are fired up.
