The Bay Horse Inn

Jon and Tina Clarke and family offer you a warm and friendly welcome to the Bay Horse Inn. The Bay Horse Inn is a traditional family-run old English Inn that dates back to the 17th century, with log fires and beamed bar/dining areas. Situated in the picturesque village of Green Hammerton, 10 miles from York and Harrogate we are close to major routes to the North, and East coast via A1/A59. Easy access to York, Harrogate, Knaresborough and Leeds city centres by road and rail- Cattal and Hammerton stations within 1 mile. The Bay Horse is open all year round and has ten bed and breakfast rooms in a courtyard setting. Bar meals are served daily Monday to Friday from late afternoon to early evening. Saturdays and Sundays food is served from 12 noon. We offer traditional, home cooked pub food. Jon's authentic homemade curries and Sunday Lunch. We cater for small functions and group bookings. Families are welcome and we are a "very "dog friendly pub. Free WIFI is available in the bar and will be added to our rooms for Spring 2023.
