Bloomsbury Way
London, England
The Museum of Comedy was founded by Leicester Square Theatre director Martin Witts, opening on April Fool’s Day 2014. Based in the repurposed crypt of the Grade I listed St George’s Church, the Museum blends its venerable architecture and entertainment artefacts with thoroughly modern performance spaces and a well stocked bar. The MoC is fast gaining a reputation as one of London's finest comedy venues, hosting regular stand-up, sketch, improv, plays, interviews and live podcasts . Adding an extra touch of character to our venue are the numerous comedy artefacts that adorn the Museum. While enjoying a pre-show drink, patrons are invited to peruse our collection. Please be aware that opening hours vary, check our website for exact opening times.
