The Leach Pottery Museum is revered potter Bernard Leach's original home and workplace. You will learn about the history of the Pottery and the many potters that have spent time training and working at the Leach Pottery. You can explore the 100-year-old Pottery, the clay room, the throwing room with kick wheels and our Japanese climbing kiln during you. All visitors receive a complimentary guidebook. Plan your visit here. We also have two exhibition spaces, the Cube Gallery and the Entrance Gallery, where you will see a changing program of exhibitions focusing on the Pottery's history and the work of contemporary potters. Our Current Exhibitions are Clay & Community and Mugs: What's Your Cup of Tea? A visit to the Leach Pottery ends in our shop, now inside Bernard Leach's cottage. Here, you can shop our Standard Ware range and beautifully curated Pottery selection by Leach Potters and talented individual makers. Our shop staff are incredibly knowledgeable.
