The best preserved roman fort in the Roman Empire (Stewart Ainsworth, 2009) Set in huge North Pennines, circa 15 miles from Hadrians Wall, Epiacum is on "open access" land and has been untouched by intrusive archaeology. We have plans to develop full visitor facilities and interpretation in the near future and massive support for this vision. We organise events
