The East Yorkshire Family History Society, based in Kingston-upon-Hull, is dedicated to helping individuals explore their ancestry and uncover the rich history of East Yorkshire. Offering a variety of resources, publications, and events, the society serves both members and non-members interested in local and family history research.
With access to numerous archives, including the Carnegie Heritage Centre and Hull History Centre, the society provides volunteers who assist with inquiries, alongside regular help desks across the East Riding. Members can also choose between digital and paper versions of their publication, the Banyan Tree, while an online shop transition will soon facilitate purchasing through GenFair.
