Station Yard
Richmond, England DL10 4LD
A well-trodden walk at all times of year, and probably Richmond’s most popular ramble. Starting at the old railway station, now a bustling visitor attraction, the Easby Loop offers fine views, a rushing river, picturesque ruins, picnic sites galore, and an eerie folk-tale. (Buggies/wheel-chairs: turn back at Easby Abbey or finish the loop on the tarmaced Easby Lane.) Easy, 2.5 miles.
