Cafe By The Lake

The Cafe by the Lake, restaurant and bar is positioned on the beautiful Sumners Lake at Sumners Ponds in the quaint picturesque village of Barns Green. We are open to all, including day visitors, from 8.00am each day serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food service is from 8am and last orders are 11.15am for breakfast, 12 midday until 3pm for lunch and dinner 6pm until 9pm when open. Our team of chefs have created an enticing and delicious menu. Enjoy a full English breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea on the decking overlooking the Sumners Lake or something a bit more warming during the winter, inside the cosy restaurant. Our licensed bar has lager, beer, cider and local ales, bottled and on draught as well as an extensive wine and spirit selection. Live music, quiz nights and larger events are planned throughout the year. Granny Betty's Afternoon Tea is available from 3pm on Fridays, Saturday and Sundays. Booking is required so please let us know at least 24 hours before hand.
