Award-winning fully-accessible volunteer-run Bushey Museum and Art Gallery, in Rudolph Road, Bushey, WD23 3HW features local history and art. Bushey's art heritage covers over 200 years and continues today. Two permanent art galleries are devoted to Hubert von Herkomer and Lucy Kemp-Welch. Three galleries show changing displays, currently Recent Arrivals: Additions to Bushey Museum's Collection; The Young Generation – Art by and about children; Before the Railway Came to Bushey: interesting buildings built before 1840. Local History Galleries feature aspects of life in Bushey from Stone Age to local hospitals, police, schools and businesses, to the life of the community during and after the World War. Bushey is 20 mins by rail from Euston; underground to Stanmore, 5 mins from bus routes, car park to rear. Free entry, open Thurs - Sun, 11am-4pm, children welcome!
