Barber-Surgeons' Hall is a tranquil escape in the heart of the Square Mile. It is home to one of The City's oldest Livery Companies, The Worshipful Company of Barbers, who date from 1308. The Barbers' Company has had a hall on the site since the 1440s, and today's Hall is the third, the first was destroyed in the Great Fire of London in 1666 and the second in the Blitz in 1940. Today's Hall, opened in 1969 by HM The Queen Mother, is available as an elegant multi-functional venue managed by a friendly team of specialist event professionals.
