Set in the coastal town of Easington Colliery, Ashwood Park Residential and Nursing Home provides dementia, residential and nursing care to older people, over the age of 65. We believe that everyone in our care should be able to maintain choice and control over their own lives. We appreciate how difficult the decision is to move into permanent or even short stay care and, our person-centred approach helps to make this transition as easy as possible.

We're proud to launch A Lifetime of Flavours, a heartfelt celebration of food, family, and the incredible lives behind the dishes. This beautifully curated cookbook features over 40 cherished recipes from Sanctuary Care residents across the UK. This isn't just a recipe collection, it's a part of how we bring to life our Enriching Lives Framework, which is based on research into what truly matters as we age. At the heart of this book is one of our 'Six Senses'; the Sense of Continuity. We believe in empowering those in our care to sustain their passions, identities and routines - such as cooking!
