We are a beef farm & have converted some redundant stone courtyard barns into 4 fantastic oak beamed cottages with modern facilities throughout, all finished to an exceptional standard with Party Barn & private indoor hot tub room. Nestled below Crooks Peak (edge of the Somerset Mendips Hills & on TheWest Mendip Way) and amidst Somerset's famous cider making and Cheddar strawberry growing area, the cottages form an 'L' shaped courtyard which is next to an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The cottages (which can be hired individually/together) are an ideal base for visits to many nearby attractions including Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, historic Wells & Glastonbury, Longleat Safari Park, Weston-super-Mare, Brean & the cities of Bristol/Bath & beaches. Pulteney House is a large, elegant Victorian house set in its own picturesque south facing gardens, with fine views of Bath Abbey. All seventeen rooms are en suite except one. The Lloyd / Worledge family, who provide a warm and homely welcome to all guests, have privately owned Pulteney House since 1979. The large, mature gardens are always kept in beautiful condition and guests are encouraged to utilise them to the full where children can play in absolute safety. Secure, private, onsite car park for guests. 10 minute walk to Bath city centre and local attractions.
