minutes from the Basque coast, welcomes you from February to November for an outing with family or friends.A Zoo in a unique setting and with many young born every year !The Zoo extends over 12 acres and allows you, in charming surroundings (cork oaks, maritime pines, eucalyptus trees….), to meander within the heart of 5 continents.Zebras, wallabies, lemurs, parrots… 200 animals from 60 species with numerous births occurring every year.Depending at which period you choose to visit, you will look for their cute little faces… in their mother’s pockets (wallabies), riding piggy back or on their mother’s tummies (lemurs)… moments of tenderness not to be missed !More recently, those of all ages can discover some Robinsons not quite like the others. On a small specially built island, brown and red haired lemurs (lemurs from Madagascar) swing along from rope courses, all under the friendly eye of a Capybara, the largest rodent in the world.A family day out to the Zoo Your children can stroke miniature goats in the mini-farm, walk side by side with wallabies in the semi-enclosed paddock….. and even be accompanied by friendly peacocks as they stroll along the alleyways.
