As the main gate of the medieval city, the Porte Saint-Michel is the most emblematic historical monument of Guérande. By visiting it, you will discover its history as well as a temporary exhibition displaying the collections of the Guérande museum. You will finish your visit on the ramparts, with an access of 1/3 of the whole surrounding wall (Despite being preserved in the respect of their authenticity, the 2/3 remaining have undergone the afflictions of history and are not accessible to the public.)
