The Espace de l’Art Concret is a contemporary art center with a collection of abstract art unique in France, the Donation Albers-Honegger. Classified as a National Treasure, it offers the public a collection of over 700 works representative of the multiple trends in 20th century geometric abstraction. The eac. is a part of history with its 16th century castle and contemporary building, the Donation Albers-Honegger (2004 , architects : Annette Gigon and Mike Guyer) and educational workshops(1998, architect : Marc Barani), in the bucolic setting of the park redesigned by Gilles Clement. L’eac. Has developed its program of artistic, cultural and educational events around three complementary missions : - The conservation and promotion of the Albers-Honegger Collection - A research mission, revolving around the temporary exhibits organized several times a year in the castle galleries and art residencies wich helps build bridges between the artwork in the collection and more contemporary
