A little story…
In 1999, Vincent Villuis and Sandrine Gryson, known professionally as AES Dana and Mahiane, united over a shared passion for the immersive world of electronic music. This collaboration led to the birth of Ultimae, an endeavor that would soon become a cornerstone of the ambient music genre. Initially envisioned as a musical portal, Ultimae's mission was to explore and disseminate the diverse expressions of Ambient music far and wide through the production of records and the establishment of an online shop.
As the years unfolded, Ultimae grew beyond its original confines, evolving into a multifaceted entity boasting state-of-the-art sound-design, post-production, and mastering studios.
