Caprice des Deux is the story of a brother and a sister, who have a common passion: the love of cooking and sharing. We are Sonia and Stéphane Avelin. In 1994, we decided to gather all our savings as well as those of our caring grandparents to create a restaurant in Saint-Tropez ... the stakes were high and it is natural that the name of the restaurant was found: "The Caprice des Deux! Because yes, we recognize it, it was a whim! A few months after the opening, Prince de Lignac chose Stéphane as Chef for his birthday banquet. From then on, all the spotlights turned to us, and the customers came running in numbers to discover our Cuisine ... Over the years, our work and our love of cooking were recognized and rewarded. Stéphane Avelin was first elected "Hope of Gastronomy" in 1995. Then, in 2014, the State awarded Stéphane and our restaurant the prestigious title of "Maître Restaurateur" for the quality of our Cuisine and our commitment and obsession to work only fresh and raw products
