Ugrin Paikka Cultural Center presents Finno-Ugric culture: languages, crafts, traditional cuisine and others.
We present the elements of crops like Finnish, Udmurt, Mari, Komi, Estonian. We do the courses and lessons of culinary school, craft shops, schools of the Udmurt language; as well as communicative training and workshops for personal growth.
We organize a two-hour tour of the Sippola village having lunch in the cafe of Finno-Ugric cuisine and great tasting cheese Emmental in the dairy family.
We have designed the Quest-game on village Sippola "Mysteries of Ancient Runes" (based on the Kalevala). The game was attracted great interest by high school students (in Finnish), and by adults (in Russian). We had assistance the game by Sergey Morozov (a talented director of teatre in St. Petersburg), his wife (actress) and son (teenager). There are 3 variants of Quest-game: 1 hour (700 meters around the Ugrin Paikka), 1.5 hours (with a visit to the lake Orijarvi) 2 hour (with a visit to the Hevoshaan Arboretum).
Welcome!
