A point of Struve Geodetic Arc is located in Enontekio, at the top of Stuorrahanoaivi. It's protected as a UNESCO's World Heritage Site. The astronomer Friedrich Struve helped determine the shape and size of the Earth and the point was marked at the top of the fell for the first time in 1850. Still today it's a great place to visit and explore the Finnish outback - you have to walk 25 km to get there!
