El Bohío is above all a family restaurant where the third generation (Pepe and Diego) through their professional experience and illusion have been able to imprint character and mark their own style to this almost forgotten Castilian inn to turn it into one of the most important temples of avant-garde cuisine in this country. Located on the old Madrid-Toledo road just 35 km from Madrid and within the town of Illescas. El Bohío was founded a few years before the Spanish Civil War by Vicente, Romana and our grandmother Valentina.
