Museu del Càntir d'Argentona

The Cantir Museum of Argentona has preserved and exhibits one of the largest collections of ceramic water jugs, more than 4,000 pieces spanning 3,000 years of man’s creation from the Bronze Age to contemporary time, and featuring several rare Picasso Cantirs. In addition to the permanent collection, the Museum devotes one floor to thematic exhibitions about the world of ceramic water jugs and also has a gallery for rotating exhibits of contemporary artists of interest. The Museum store offers publications, reproductions of museum pieces and a wide range of ceramic products.
