Cueva De Los Enebralejos
Cave of Enebralejos, near the village of Prádena de la Sierra, is the most important of those known in the province of Segovia. Since its entry the cave presents us beauty of its halls and galleries adorned with a splendid set of calcareous concretions: stalactites, stalagmites, columns, flowstones and draperies occur as we get into it. We also find numerous examples of the use of the cave as a necropolis by our ancestors from the Chalcolithic in the form of paintings and engravings, which have been dated to about 2500 BC. In the environment of Enebralejos the atmosphere of a prehistoric settlement of the beginning of the age of metals is reproduced, from over 4000 years ago. Through this visit is possible to know the ways of life of its ancient inhabitants.
