The train pulls into the platform – lucky for you, we are located right by the train station. Are you coming by car? No problem – we have a spot for that as well. You step through the glass doors and enter our elegant and stylish building – you are allowed to compare with the museum; yes the Trapholt Museum. If you would like to take in a casual hotel lounge atmosphere, then have a seat in the comfy furniture – we will take care of the refreshments. Water right outside the windows? Exactly, you are looking at the castle lake (Slotssøen). If you grow tired of us – if we are TOO attentive to your needs – please go to your room. We won’t take it personally. You can make yourself a cup of coffee, lie on the bed, chill out. Are you over flow-tv? So are we, which is why we have installed chromecasts in all rooms. Have you had enough screentime and suddenly find yourself in the mood for a good read during your visit? Let us take you to the city library that just happens to be our neighbor. If you feel the need for life – citylife – fortunately, you’ll find that just outside the doors, as we are bang in middle of Kolding – close to all that is fun – far from everything you don’t need. If you’re used to eating oatmeal in the mornings, we can prepare that for you. You can also expect plenty of crispy bacon, all kinds of fresh fruit and maybe a small pastry. Luckily for the rest of the city, our scrumptious breakfast is not only available for hotel guests. Would you rather sleep in on Saturday ?
