Köpenick Castle has been used by the Museum of Decorative Arts since 1963. During the division of Germany, the collections from the eastern part of Berlin were exhibited here. After a comprehensive renovation of all the buildings on the castle island, the Museum of Decorative Arts has been showing a permanent exhibition of works of "spatial art from the Renaissance, Baroque and Rococo" since 2004. Unique masterpieces of decorative art from the 16th to the 18th century are presented on three floors.

Wild Waste Gallery

We are a bunch of artists (Kolja/Wild Waste, Spiral Tribe / SP23, Bastiaan Maaris, Notchi) and rented a piece of land - on the BETONINSEL - for a couple of years. We would like to use it, to make art and to show art. Currently Kolja became a director of a band of pneumaticly driven robot sculptures which express a general joy for live by being able to play music on real instruments. Hošek Contemporary, established in 2016, is an art residency and gallery located on a boat in Berlin-Mitte. The gallery focuses primarily on site specific installations, performing arts and experimental sound installations. The gallery hosts weekly experimental music installations, providing musicians an opportunity to showcase their sound skills to a Berlin audience.
