The “Museum of Westlausitz” is a regional landscape museum that houses collections on zoology, geology, botany, archaeology and cultural history and is housed in the two buildings “Elementarium” and “Sammelsurium”. The “Elementarium” experience (exhibition) is a hands-on museum. On an expedition through six themed worlds, you can follow in the footsteps of the most important landscape designers on earth. The “Ponickauhaus” in Kamenz now houses the exhibitions of the Museum der Westlausitz Kamenz - the Elementarium. Here you will also find the café, the museum store and the library.
