The Pegelhouse - built around 1609, it initially served as a Rhine crane. Then in 1839 as the gauge house station. The crane on the roof was removed around 1900 and the building was expanded by another floor for the 2011 Federal Horticultural Show. Today it is our wonderful restaurant in a unique location directly on the Rhine. Our spacious terrace offers a free and unobstructed view of the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, in our panorama restaurant under a glass dome you can experience impressive sunsets in the Middle Rhine Valley. Our level house is very versatile and also offers the perfect ambience for an unforgettable wedding or company event on the banks of the Rhine. We spoil you with hand-made dishes from our tower kitchen. In addition to dishes that are typical of our region, we prepare juicy steaks, unforgettable burgers and vegan dishes for you. Handmade, Honest and Delicious!
