Altes Fährhaus

Welcome to "Altes Fährhaus" in Cochem-Cond, right on the banks of the Moselle. Opposite the castle and the beautiful panorama of the Moselle promenade in Cochem-Stadt! We took over the pension in January 2023 and look forward to welcoming you! You've come to the right place if you're looking for a quiet starting point for your holiday in Cochem! There are also public parking spaces in front of the house, so arriving by car is not a problem, as is the case with many other accommodation options. In Cochem itself there is much more to experience than just the wonderful Moselle wine and good food! Among other things, you can inquire about beautiful hiking trails, the Reichsburg or the Bundesbank bunker, visit the historic mustard mill or experience the very well-developed Moselle cycle path in the direction of Trier. Of course there is much more to discover, which we have ready for you in our detailed guest folder and information material. All of our rooms have been refurbished and renovated in recent years, whereby we have of course focused on what is important to us on vacation and that is a cozy room and a comfortable bed. We also offer three rooms with balconies where you can taste our house wine, as well as wine from (in our opinion) the best winemakers in the area! We would also be happy to organize a wine tasting for you as a group. If you prefer a room without a balcony, you can of course use our beautiful, secluded garden with a wonderful view. We offer an optional rich breakfast and look forward to serving you in the evening in our wine house in Cochem-Stadt. Our Weinhaus Schneider is located on the quiet but beautifully situated Schrombekaul-Platz. Our regional connection is particularly important to us, since our family has lived in Cochem for several generations and we are socially committed locally. You can of course also experience this in our menu and the breakfast buffet, we only use eggs from Faid (neighboring town), various regional beers, wines, water and much more!
