Planetarium Hamburg

Planetarium Hamburg is one of the landmarks of Hamburg.Located in a historic water tower in the Stadtpark (city park), it features a unique combination of sophisticated technology. It is the world's first star theater to blend an immersive 3D image with 3D sound into a 360-degree overall experience. The Zeiss star projection, a digital 8K 3D full-dome projection, the 3D sound system and one of the world's largest showlaser- and lighting systems form the outstanding instrument for traveling with this "cruise ship of the senses". Planetarium Hamburg offers a wide range of presentations for children, families and adults - to learn, to discover, to take off, to relax and unwind - and dream. From the observation deck at a height of 60 meters, which is accessible by an express lift, the building also offers a great panoramic view of Hamburg. In addition a selection of drinks and food welcomes guests at the in-house Cafe Nordstern (with indoor and outdoor areas) .
