For a quarter of a century, the well-known drinking area defined the bar culture of West Berlin and shaped more than a generation of bar-hopper and bartenders. The old Lützow Bar was the Berlin bar myth, somewhere between a hot spot and an insider tip that drew guests like Danny DeVito, Liza Minelli or Falco to the eternal bar counter.
