Das kleine Grosz Museum is a privately run museum dedicated to the work of the artist George Grosz (1893–1959). In May 2022, the museum opened its doors in a spectacularly unique location: a refurbished 1950s petrol station in the heart of Berlin-Schöneberg. In addition to a permanent exhibition that introduces visitors to Grosz's life and work, a carefully researched temporary exhibition is displayed every six months. Famed for his biting, satirical, and political art of the 1920s and 1930s, as well as being a key figure in the Dada and New Objectivity art movements, this private museum seeks to highlight the various aspects and chapters of this multifaceted and exceptional artist.
