In the heart of Munich's beautiful old town, just a stone's throw away from Marienplatz, the first Museum of Urban Art in Germany is located in a former substation of the public utility company on a total area of approx. 2,000 sqm. In the main building of the MUCA, the works of nationally and internationally renowned artists from the urban and street art scene as well as contemporary art await you on three levels in changing exhibitions. As part of the current Damien Hirst solo show at the MUCA Museum in Munich, you can admire Hirst's largest "spot painting" on our Giant Wall in the outdoor area: With its 1,000 square metres and 540 different colour circles, it can even be seen from the Munich Frauentürme. The MUCA is an insider tip for many art lovers and is one of the most extraordinary museums in Munich thanks to its interior and exterior spaces.
