Botanischer Garten Der Universität Regensburg
The Botanical Garden of the University of Regensburg is a green oasis on the edge of the medieval city of Regensburg and has a lot to offer, and not just for students: - A total of around 5000 different plant species in the open air and in the greenhouses, - experimental cultures for teaching and research, - illustrative material for students, teachers, botany and garden enthusiasts, - a rich fauna for zoologists and animal enthusiasts thanks to the diverse flora, - Space for those seeking relaxation and tall trees that provide pleasant shade on hot days. As part of the Department of Ecology and Conservation Biology, the botanical garden serves the purpose of research and teaching. One focus is the conservation and research of our native flora through appropriate conservation cultures. You are welcome to visit and get an overview for yourself!
