DASMAXIMUM KunstGegenwart

The museum DASMAXIMUM is a museum for major works of contemporary art. On display are five German and four American artists, including world stars such as Andy Warhol, Dan Flavin and Georg Baselitz, who have had a decisive influence on art since 1960. They are among the closest companions of museum founder Heiner Friedrich who has actively promoted art since the 1960s in Munich, Cologne and New York as a gallery owner, art collector and co-founder of numerous foundations such as the renowned Dia Art Foundation. With the DASMAXIMUM museum, he now enables an intensive encounter with contemporary art in his hometown of Traunreut.
