Lachenmann Art Gallery

Lachenmann Art Gallery was founded in 2014 by art historian Juliane Lachenmann and her husband Steffen in a former shipyard hall in the city of Constance. It is now located in the historic district Paradies near the banks of the Rhine and is one of the largest galleries in the Lake Constance region with just under 300 sqm. Since 2018, Lachenmann Art has also presented itself with a second gallery in the city centre of Frankfurt am Main near the Alte Brücke on two floors with over 600 m2 of exhibition space. Painting, drawing and photography, sculpture and installation as well as conceptual art, performance and video are presented in a total of up to fifteen exhibitions per year. The focus of the versatile and international gallery programme is on contemporary, already established artists who can look back on an impressive exhibition and collection history and whose works are represented in institutional as well as important private collections.
