Memory of Nations Institute in Brno offers a modern multimedia exhibition called The Quiet Heroes devoted to 20th century history and the stories of people who personally lived through totalitarian regimes. The exhibition "Quiet Heroes" strives to convey what it means to keep one's word. It does so through touch, listening, and observation, guiding visitors through the life stories of witnesses from the Nazi occupation and the harshest times of communist totalitarianism. Located in Brno's center, it is newly available for English-speaking visitors. The Memory of Nations Institute is located in the very center of the city, right next to the Old Town Hall, at Radnická 10. The Old Town Hall has been witness to many historic events. We are now bringing new ones to life, helping visitors learn about the recent past. The venue also hosts unique guest speakers, film screenings, short-term exhibitions, and theme-based musical and literary evenings.
