HILT black light theatre

The genre of black light theater collects worldwide success since 1955 and its "home" became Czech Republic. Visual effects, floating figures and the magic of colors in the infinite space of absolute darkness is breathtaking theater experience. The author of the show Theodor Hoidekr has directed several shows of black light theater and worked among others with the greatest film star of Bollywood Abhishek Bachchan in New Delhi. HILT is one of the few black light theaters that survived the covid pandemic. It is located in the center of Old Prague in an underground stone space with foundations from the 15th century. The audience sits level with the stage of the performance and is thus completely drawn into the magic of darkness and light. The motto of the HILT Black Light Theatre Prague is: "You have to enter the darkness to see the light." HILT black light theatre has grown from a small group of passionate artists in a theater group that is recognized on the world stage.
