Founded in 1986 by Jim Assad, American Heartland Theatre is a live theater offering a wide variety of programs, including classics and the best of Broadway shows. The theater has been providing acting classes for more than 10 years and its professional guest instructors include directors, choreographers, actors, casting directors and individuals prominent in the theatre scene, both locally and nationally. The theater rents its facility for special events, including anniversaries, fashion shows and seminars. It provides a 420-seat theater, full-service food and beverage bar, special group rate on theater tickets, private suite for more than 30 guests, free parking facility, microphones, LCD projector and projection screens. It also offers its facility for fund-raising events to schools, clubs and nonprofit organizations. American Heartland is located in Kansas City, Mo.

Incredible children's theater. No bad seats. I love that kids can sit on the floor close to the stage. Very affordable and such a talented group of actors. We saw Dr Doolittle and loved it.
