Depuis 1975, il est organisé en SA sous la raison sociale Géotechnique Appliquée Pierre et Claude Dériaz & Cie SA, devenue en 1997 GEOTECHNIQUE APPLIQUEE DERIAZ SA (abrégée par GADZ). GADZ a axé son activité sur le études géotechniques et les travaux d'infrastructures en génie civil, avec une attention paticulière pour l'environnement. Dès le début, il a disposé d'un laboratoire de mécanique des sols.
