Located in the centre of the town of Fribourg in a vaulted 12th century cellar, the Swiss Sewing Machine and Unusual Objects Museum presents pieces from around the world, ranging from the sewing-machine to the iron and the mechanical vacuum cleaner.The museum offers a collection of over 250 sewing machines from the 19th and 20th centuries, used in households but also in the shops of fabric and leather artisans.
