A century ago, the composer Igor Stravinsky chose Morges as the ideal location for both calm and climate; it is here that he composed his most remarkable works. Today, you can be just as inspired, enjoying the house he lived in with its lush gardens overlooking Lake Geneva and the Alps. Entirely converted into an 8-room hotel in 2012, La Maison d’Igor has been fully refurbished with modern amenities to meet the needs of today’s exigent client while still preserving the beauty of things past, such as the original woodwork, sculptures, stucco, fireplace and fountain that have all been lovingly restored to their former glory.

Ideally located 5 minutes away from the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL) and 10 minutes away from Lausanne by car, Hotel des Inventions pays homage to those who have made Switzerland a reference in terms of innovation. From milk chocolate to Velcro and automatic watches, 50 Swiss inventions are featured in the hotel, lending their names to the different rooms.
