During Summertime (April - September) our Fonduekeller remains closed. Try the best cheese Fondue in Appenzellerland in our Adlerkeller. This room was first mentioned around 1490. It was rebuilt little by little after the great fire in 1560 which destroyed the old village of Appenzell. Various wines and spirits are served from mostly Swiss and neighbouring regions.
