Villa Carlotta welcomes you with its magnificent botanic garden and art masterpieces in over 70.000 square metres of gardens and museum. The beautiful villa was built at the end of XVII century by the Milanese marquis Giorgio Clerici in a natural basin between lake and mountains, facing the dolomite Grignas and the peninsula of Bellagio.

THE FORTRESS OPEN MARCH 2nd, 2024 Open all Saturdays and Sundays and Holidays 10am-5 pm, after three months of Covid suspension. Forte Montecchio North is the fortress of the First World War best-preserved in Europe, strategically located at the confluence of Valtellina and Val Chiavenna. His French guns from 149S in revolving dome are still fully functional. OPEN from MARCH, every SATURDAY, SUNDAY and ALL THE HOLIDAYS (July and August every day). Guided tours in the openings at 10; 11; 12 am; 1 pm; 2 pm; 3 pm; 4 pm, 5 pm. IN AUGUST opened every days from 10am to 5pm
