Apartments Wirz Travel are situated in a quiet residential area with town view, 10 walking minutes to the centre of the village, 7 walking minutes to the train station Sarnen Nord and supermarkets, 20 minutes by car/train to Lucerne, 4 minutes by car to Lake Sarnen. Sarnen is ideally located for various excursions to Lucerne and Interlaken, Pilatus, Rigi, Titlis (glacier), Stanserhorn, Ballenberg, Melchsee Frutt, Brienzer Rothorn (steam train), Lake Lucerne (steam boats) etc. Activities: great hiking area, swimming in Lake Sarnen, boat rental, biking, skiing, cross country skiing, large playground on the lake etc. You are invited to borrow two bicycles free of charge (first come first served).
