The Yukon Environmental and Socioeconomic Assessment Board (YESAB) is an independent, arms-length body established under the Yukon Environmental and Socioeconomic Assessment Act. It is responsible for conducting environmental and socioeconomic assessments of projects prior to their approval by governing bodies, ensuring that both Indigenous and non-Indigenous perspectives are considered throughout the assessment process.
