The Local Kitchen

Founded in 1980 by artist and instructor Gail Adams, the Gail Adams Studio of Art in Saskatoon has been a cherished hub for creativity and learning for 44 years. With a commitment to nurturing artists of all ages, the studio grew to offer general and specialized classes, workshops, and summer camps, making a lasting impact on the lives of approximately 250 students weekly at its peak. In recent years, the studio faced significant challenges due to the pandemic, ultimately leading to its closing announcement set for June 2024. Through its journey, the studio fostered a strong sense of community, celebrating life's milestones and supporting one another, cementing its legacy as an integral part of the local art landscape.
