Saskatoon Racing & Canoe Club
The Saskatoon Racing Canoe Club (SRCC), founded in 1985, is dedicated to training athletes in the Olympic sport of sprint canoe and kayak racing, with a focus on discipline, excellence, and sportsmanship. The club has a competitive core of athletes aged 11 to 25 and has contributed to Canada's national success by sending athletes to the Olympics and World Championships, as well as producing numerous national champions.
SRCC offers programs for all ages, including summer camps, group bookings for dragon boating, and various competitive training groups. Athletes compete in sprint races over distances of 200m, 500m, and 1000m, as well as longer marathon races, fostering a community centered around speed, strength, and endurance on flat water.
