Post Secondary Student Support
The Post Secondary Student Support Program, administered by the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation (PBCN), is dedicated to fulfilling Treaty obligations by supporting Treaty status Indians in their pursuit of postsecondary education. By providing assistance, the program aims to equip its members with the qualifications and skills necessary for individual careers and contributing to Indian Self-Government.
Many youth from the PBCN go on to attend various educational institutions across Saskatchewan, including the University of Saskatchewan, University of Regina, and First Nations University of Canada. Through its mission, the program emphasizes the importance of education in fostering personal and community development.
